Martins - Customer Appreciation, Wine Tasting - March 12th

I  will not be at TFM as my distributor has me pouring at Martins' Customer Appreciation event.   Thought you  might be interested in it.  Food and wine sampling.  This event is free.  All wines are 20% off a 6 bottle purchase.  

Although I'm not positive, if it's anything like the Kroger's Customer Appreciation events, you check in at Table 1, at the main entrance (you show your ID) and you will be given a wrist band and wine glass. (Yes, a glass! But still 1 oz. pours.)  Plus, there should be food samples at each table.   No matter what, who doesn't enjoy food and wine?

I have to say, getting my head into my wine tasting yesterday was slow going.  My first two customers I had never seen before and thank God, they were friendly and started chatting with me.  (I should have started chatting with them.)  Anyway, it wasn't long before I got  my head in the game and next thing you know all my friends (a.k.a. regular customers) started arriving.  I was so happy to see everyone!  It seemed like it had been forever.   It is so much fun when we all start chatting with each and enjoy the wine and share our thoughts/opinions on them.

Pat (of course - always here), Sandra and Bruce (he take pictures of me to post), Cathy and Jim, Ooops! (see below), Lori and Joe (he disappeared on me after this picture), and Donna and Steve.

So the "Ooops!"  I always enjoy talking with this gentleman and his wife, and after all these years, I don't know their names.  I'll have to fix that next time I see them.  Soooo, sorry.

A lot of you asked when I'd be back for another tasting.  I will post every time I'm going to be at the store (or having a fun tasting  you might be interested in (for those of you that will follow me any where)).  However, here's what I currently have planned:
